ASE Resources

Program Information

The Adult Secondary Education (ASE) program is a competency-based high school diploma program that provides opportunities for adults to:

  • Earn a high school diploma
  • Prepare for the General Educational Development (GED) test
  • Prepare for the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)
  • Improve academic skills needed for college and career training programs

The ASE program also partners with LAUSD high schools to support the district goal of 100 percent graduation.  ASE courses allow concurrently enrolled high school students to:

  • Make up missing credits
  • Prepare for the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)
